Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 on the 25th of August, 1970) is an American actress. She was famous for her role as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant from the HBO show Big Love and Francine Hanson in the AMC show Mad Men. Her most recognizable role is that of Tiffany Wilson, in the movie White Chicks. She was also well known as The Dr. Amber Volakis of Fox's House and Danielle Brookson of USA Networks Covert Affairs. Dudek is an Massachusetts native who attended Northwestern University. It was there that she got her debut acting role in The Iphigenia Cycle. Dudek was honored with the Joseph E. Caloway Award for her outstanding performance in the New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek among the ten theater actors to be watched. Dudek was eventually offered performances on television as well as the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera, was her husband from the year 2008 until 2016. Dudek was conceived at Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and raised in Newton. At the beginning of her career she was a student of Northwestern University. During this period, she was a part of numerous theater productions in addition to performances performing on Broadway. Then, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in recognition of her role as The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group: A British Comedy-Drama was her first show in the world of television. She has also guest starred in a variety of other TV series including Desperate, Housewives, How I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. Additionally, she played Lucinda in the pilot episode of Psych. She then played an instructor at a high school who has romance with one of her students in Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was later cast in several recurring roles, beginning with the fourth season. She played Amber Volakis. Dr. Gregory House is considering her for a permanent position as a member of his medical team. The character remained on screen throughout the season, however she was removed from the show in the two-part finale Wilson's Heart and the Head of House. In the 5th season episode Saviors, House would have returned later in the episode as the result of a hallucination. That's how she was seen for the rest of the of the Season. Dudek will later be seen in Mad Men playing the antagonistic neighbour of Alby grant, Francine Hanon. Dudek joined Covert Affairs in 2010, playing Danielle Brooks. She is the daughter of the main character. Dudek has appeared in other movies, playing Tiffany Wilson the cruise line hero Tiffany Wilson's in the 2004 comedy White Chicks.
